Doc's Regimen

A few times a week I am asked questions pertaining to the supplements I take.  As a favor to some of my friends and patients, here is a list of what I am currently taking.

Daily Basis:
Men's Pure Pack
ChromeMate GTF 600
Vitamin C
Adrenal Health
Uber Greens
PhysioWhey Powder

3-4 times a week: about an hour before I work out:
Testosterone Formula
Potassium Citrate
Tyrosine
Nettle Leaf
1/2 dose of Uber Greens and PhysioWhey Powder mixed with 8-10 ounces of water and a little brown sugar

Post workout:
AR-Encap
Potassium Citrate
EPA/DHA essentials


Occasionally:
Digest Gluten Plus (when I eat wheat)
Betaine HCl (when I am going to overeat or eat wheat)
Arctic-D Cod Liver Oil Effervescent


Supplements are, and will be, a part of my life for the following reasons.

1) Everyday we are all exposed to hundreds or thousands of toxic chemicals.  Our body requires an abundant amount of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to protect our health from these toxic exposures. 

2) Food is losing nutritional and phytochemical value.  Over the past decades of big farming our soils have become depleted of minerals.  Due to gene manipulation and early pick times (so the produce can be shipped further) vitamin quantities have dropped.  Due to heavy usage of pesticides, insecticides, and fungicides plants are producing less health supportive constituents like polyphenols and salvestrols.  Supplements should now be seen as part of your grocery bill. 

3) Research supports it.  There are countless medical articles that support the usage of nutritional supplements to both prevent and address disease processes.

4) Results.  Less pain, higher testosterone levels, better energy, etc…. it works.
